Description

This course provides an introduction to assessing children who may benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Designed for practitioners working in health or therapy settings, it explores how to combine observational assessment with standardised tools to build a rich, holistic understanding of a child’s communication needs.

Through real-world examples, guided practice, and tools, this CPD learning opportunity equips participants with an increased confidence in selecting appropriate AAC approaches and tailoring recommendations to each child’s strengths, needs, and contexts.
