Understand how you can use this resource to create personalised communication books. Learn about the different stages of books that can be created and how to identify which stage an individual would require.  

Course aim

To introduce the principles of ‘Developing and Using a Communication Book’  and consider who it is suitable for and how to select the appropriate stage.

Full 6 hour course (2 x 3 hour sessions) £120

 - Provides more in depth learning around selecting vocabulary and creating personalised books based on individual requirements of your clients. 

- Time working with the symbol software to create pages with opportunity for direct support from the clinicians delivering the course. 

- Build skills to use the guide book independently to create infinite communication books with personalised vocabulary and targetted design.
