This course considers the dynamic process of assessment required to find the right AAC system for an AAC user.
It can be provided as either:
1/2 hour FREE webinar with Q & A. This is Introductory Level.
Or:
PAID for teacher-supported course. This is a Developing Level course.
Course aim
Develop your knowledge and skills to identify appropriate AAC solutions.

Taster Session:
To understand key factors to consider when conducting an AAC assessment.
Paid for Course:
- To recognise factors to consider in an AAC system.
- To identify assessment questions to ask.
- To consider the importance of documenting observations accurately.
- To evaluate tools to support an AAC assessment.
IPAACKS competencies
Covers aspects of Assessment in Levels 2 & 3, including awareness of the factors to be considered in the AAC process, when the individual has additional physical, sensory and learning needs.
