Consider ways in which AAC users can engage in literacy learning.
You will learn

- To explore key considerations for developing literacy skills and the impact for AAC users.

- To explore ways in which literacy can be taught to children with complex learning needs.
- To examine some of the legislation around literacy learning and the importance of providing opportunities for all learners.
- To identify the skills required for literacy learning.
- To identify potential barriers for literacy learning for our more complex learners.
- To consider resources that can be used to facilitate the development of literacy skills for people with complex physical, learning and sensory needs.
